Halogen-Free Anti-Static Tape

Halogen-free antistatic tape is a kind of tape with antistatic performance and free of halogen, halogen-free antistatic tape usually consists of 3-layer structure
The substrate is generally halogen-free polyester (PET), polyimide (PI), halogen-free PVC, etc., and it does not contain chlorine (Cl), bromine (Br) and other halogens.

The adhesive is an antistatic agent (e.g. carbon black, ionic liquid) with a surface resistance of 10⁴~10¹¹ Ω/sq to ensure static dissipation.

Release paper/film (Liner) Silicone oil paper or PET film to protect the adhesive surface (some products without release layer).

• Halogen-free: It does not contain halogen elements such as chlorine, bromine, fluorine, iodine and so on. It will not release halogenated harmful gases and fumes when burning, which reduces pollution to the environment and harm to human health, and meets the requirements of international environmental protection regulations, such as the IEC 61249-2-21 standard for halogen-free regulations.
• Anti-static performance: good anti-static effect, can quickly dissipate static electricity on the surface of the object, the surface resistance value of the object will be controlled within a certain range, generally between 10^6Ω to 10^9Ω. This can effectively prevent the accumulation of static electricity, to avoid damage to electronic components, integrated circuits, etc. due to electrostatic discharge.
• Good physical properties: good flexibility, tensile strength and abrasion resistance. Flexibility allows the tape to adapt to different shapes and surfaces of the objects pasted; tensile strength to ensure that the tape is not easy to break in the process of use; abrasion resistance ensures that the tape can still maintain stable performance after long-term use or after a certain amount of friction.
• Chemical stability: It has good resistance to common chemical substances and is not easily eroded or affected by them. In different chemical environments, such as in the production environment containing certain acid and alkali components, it can still maintain its adhesion, anti-static properties and other physical and chemical properties to ensure the normal use of the tape.
