Storage and transportation of adhesive tapes

Since its invention, adhesive tape has played a very important role in our lives. There are many classifications of adhesive tapes, such as high-temperature tape, double-sided tape, insulating tape, specialty tape, pressure-sensitive tape, static tape, die-cutting tape, and so on. Different types of tapes have different roles. Below we understand the storage and transportation of the tape and the use of maintenance is what kind.

1. The tape should be stored in the warehouse, avoid sunshine and rain; prohibit contact with acid, alkali, oil and organic solvents, keep it clean and dry, 1m away from the discovery device, and the room temperature is between -15℃~40℃.
2. The tape should be placed in rolls, not folded, and should be turned over once a quarter when stored for a long time.
3. When loading and unloading the conveyor belt, it is good to use the crane, and use the rigging with a beam to lift it up smoothly to avoid damaging the edge of the belt, and do not load and unload it in a brutal way, which may cause the loose roll to throw off the set.
4. The type of tape and specifications should be based on the use of needs specific conditions, and reasonable selection.
5. Different varieties, different specifications, strength, the number of cloth layer of the tape connection (group) used together.
6. Conveyor belt joints are good to use hot vulcanized adhesive joints to improve reliability and maintain high effective strength.
7. Conveyor roller diameter and conveyor belt diameter of the smallest pulley should be consistent with the relevant provisions.
8. Do not make the tape serpentine or creep, to keep the drag roller, stand roller flexible, tension should be moderate.
9. Conveyor equipped with baffles and mounted clean device, should avoid the wear and tear of the tape.
10. Cleanliness is the basic condition of good operation of the tape, foreign substances will affect the tape eccentricity, tension difference, and even breakage.
11. When the tape is found to have early damage phenomenon in use, the cause should be found and repaired in time to avoid the bad consequences.
